As you can
see from the hierarchy of training methods, technique is very important. You've already done some analysis of running
phases. You also need to be able to recognize technique errors and make specific
suggestions for correcting them. In this way, you can help to improve the performance of your athletes.
Some examples are presented in table 20.3 on page 481 in the text. Take the
time to study the information presented in that table.
