Edison High School is the new high school in town. There are 1,900 students in grades 9 to 12. Students are required to take physical education for 2 years and may take physical education as an elective in grades 11 and 12. Approximately 53% of students take physical education as an elective. There are six full-time teachers at Edison High School.

We'll visit with two of the full-time teachers, Eric Brown and Gina Ling.

Hi! I'm Eric Brown, a 15-year veteran that has been at Edison High School for 5 years now. I'd like to focus my instruction more on lifetime activities. I'd like to see from your observations if my instructional practices provide equitable instruction for all students.

I'm Gina Ling. I've taught for 4 years and they've all been at Edison High School. I completed my secondary student teaching at Edison and was hired immediately upon graduation.

I like to include technology into my coursework and we'll be looking at whether or not the use of technology is encouraging the students to participate outside of the class setting.
